Objectives: As a bounty huntress, Venya is motivated by personal gain. Her only goal is to attain credits for herself and further her career as a bounty huntress and assassin.

Physical Description

Venya is a very beautiful woman who is a master of the art of disguise. Her figure is amazing, and her eyes can cut into your soul with their intensity.

She is a master of the concealment of weapons, and hides two Zenjii needles in her hair.

Venya is very well-endowed and uses that to her advantage. At one point, she had them increased in size with implants. The doctors were good enough with bacta not to leave any scar.

Professional History: Venya joined a mercenary company after she was old enough. While she performed well, she did not like the standard policy that was against women, and finally quit. She took up bounty hunting and has become one of the best in the galaxy.

Background: Venya was born on the Imperial Prison Planet of Kessel. Her parents were killed in the prison when she was very young, and she was raised by some of the others.

While in Kessel prison, she became very street-wise and picked up how to hide, listen, pick pockets and move silently. These skills would help her a lot many years later.

Because she was not a lifer, the Imperials let her leave when she was an adult, although only after taking advantage of her. What also helped is that she planned to join a mercenary company at age 16. Catching a lift in a freighter heading back to Coruscant, she befriended some of the crew, who allowed her to train in the old piloting simulator. By the time she got to Coruscant, she was a pretty good pilot and had learnt a lot.

Consequently when she found a mercenary company named Shadowfire, she passed all the entry tests with ease. Her initial training went well as she was a quick learner and when tests showed she had a very good eye, she was assigned by the company commander to get sniper training. She worked well as a sniper..

After 4 years though, she became disgusted with their policies against women and when she had a chance, she quit from the company. Because of her exemplary service, she was allowed to keep her sniper rifle.

She had received a very good pay, which she had kept & saved up. Heading to a shuttleyard that sold used vehicles, she used all her money to buy an Firespray-31 vessel and some weaponry for it.

Heading out into the Galaxy, she traveled to Nal Hutta, where she began doing work for the Hutts, who paid well even though it disgusted her. She worked as a smuggler for a bit, learning and improving her ship. When it was decent enough, she joined the Bounty Hunter guild and started doing missions for them.

Her skills grew quickly until she became a very well known hunter of skill, one of the best. She has headed to the Outer Rim, making a base of Tel'Thranan.

Personality:

Venya can be as cold, cruel and deadly as a night on Hoth. Even though Venya has no love of the Empire, she does have a typical xenophobic anti-alien attitude. She is particularly vicious against non-humans that she hunts and those who side with them. However, she is quite emotion-less, which makes her the perfect bounty huntress as she does not feel for her victims at all.

She is hard to become acquainted with, but she has been known to make a few human friends. However, nobody has her total loyalty. Venya has been known to fly off the handle in anger on occasion, causing lots of death and destruction as she does. She has a strong sense of dignity and pride, but can be sidetracked by her taste for revenge.

Venya is often crafty and wary of getting involved in personal affairs, but this huntress can also be quite the charmer should she choose to lure in her prey with little fuss. She is very seductive, and does not care what she has to do to complete a bounty.  Some of the covers she has used include working as a nude dancer & prostitute, a mechanic, a moisture-farmer, a bodyguard and a pirate.

Venya thrives on the danger of her lifestyle and fights very dirty.

Vehicle of Choice: Venya has a modified Firespray-31 vessel named Starfury. She has improved the hyperdrives to x1 & x8 and added cells that can be individually opened to space if needed. The shields have been improved by half.

The weapons have been modified & upgraded as followed:
- Tractor beam projecter moved to a turret
- Added a concealed turretted proton torpedo launcher with 8 tracking beacons

A standard HoloNet transceiver and a subspace transceiver has been installed into the ship. The ship's medical bay has an unnamed older Industrial Automation MD-0 diagnostic medical droid. However, it doesn't get much use from Venya.

For when she needs to hunt on a planet, she has two custom-built airspeeder vehicles.

One is a custom speeder bike that is little more then an overpowered speeder engine and control veins, with the driver literally lying on the top holding on tight as it zooms through the air at 370 mph. It provides no protection at all except for a transparent plasteel shield to stop wind rushing into the drives face and has no built-in weaponry.

Her other vehicle is a single-person airspeeder that has two lockable capsules that can held a bound prisoner in each. It has a twin-light blaster cannon on a turret and a concussion grenade launcher. It can travel at 180 mph and has a weak shield system. There is room for 20 kgs of cargo in it.

Base Of Operations: Starfury.

Form Of Dress: Venya prefers wears to wear a suit of dark blue combat jumpsuit when she is actively hunting. However, she will wear whatever she needs to so she can get the job done. For example, when she worked as a dancer on jobs, no clothing or coverings were worn at all.

She does not wear clothing aboard her ship unless she has a prisoner.

She is well trained with all forms of amour, including powered suits such as Stormtrooper amour.

Weapons of Choice: As an soldier, she was trained in numerous forms of weaponry and can use most common ones. She also knows how to fight effectively unarmed, being a master in the styles of K'Tara and Teras Kasai. She is an excellent fighter with her vibro-knuckler, and is especially brutal in hand-to-hand combat with it.

For when she is doing sniper work, she either uses a SoroSuub X-45 sniper blaster rifle, a Merr-Sonn  LD-1 target blaster rifle or a Czerka Adventurer slug thrower rifle with explosive or pyro ammunition.

Venya's collection of weaponry stored in a retina-scan locked room that only she has access to. Some of the weaponry includes blaster pistols, heavy blaster pistols, vibrorapiers, stun batons, whips, flame projectors and grenades. Various suits of amour are also stored in there.

She also has a pair of Zenjii needles hidden in her hair at all times and a heavy blaster pistol at her hip when she can.

Superhuman Powers or Augmentations to Body: Venya has no force sensitivity or augmentations.

Abilities: Venya is a trained soldier and sniper. She knows how to fly starships and navigate, as well as repair them.

She knows how to track others and wonderful with escape-artistry. She can survive in the wilderness or urban situations without worry. She is good at reading body-language so knows when people are lying or have a motive. She has wonderful combat reflexes, able to react fast and draw a weapon fast.

She has excellent balance and knows to search, hide, move silent and listen. She climb well and knows demolitions & explosives. She is good at disguising herself, and knows how to disable devices.

Venya has an almost disturbing ability to recall things that she has seen, heard or sensed.

During her bounty hunting life, she has collected a number of rare items that have proved to be incredibly useful.

The first is an item she took as part-payment from a dead Rebel Special-Ops officer after a successful retrieval mission. With research, she found it that is called a No-Show and was built by Audio Performance Inc. for the Rebel Alliance. It is a wrist-mounted unit that creates a skintight electromagnetic sheath, concealing a person's energy emissions (including body heat and sonic vibrations.

The second item is a Corellidyne CQ-3.9x Holographic Image Disguiser, and is a small unit worn on a belt. It is an advanced form of holoprojector known as a holoshroud that is capable of placing a stored holographic image over an existing real world object or person. It only has enough power betwen recharges for 2 minutes unless it has an external power supply. The image is extremely high in quality and even moves as the item or person moves, making it almost impossible for the untrained eye to detect as a fake. However, sensors, cameras and droids are more likely to detect a telltale flicker and realise something is amiss.

The third item is a MicroThrust ComTech Eavesdrop Protection unit which is a portable jammer pack designed to foul all communications for 150 metres when activated.

Special Notes:  Venya has a series of droids that she uses for various hunting tasks. One of the droids she uses is an Arakyd Industries Mark VII "Inquisitor" Series Seeker droid, which she uses to locate and track various targets.

For targets that are not easy to get to, Venya has a collection of four Siener Intel Systems Mark VI Scarab Series Assassin Droids, which are small insect-like droids that can be used to inject various nerve toxins and poisons into victims.

Not surprisingly, professional hunters, including Venya, maintain a sense of remoteness from the average citizen - one can never tell just who might become tomorrow's meal ticket! One way in which this purposeful distancing is maintained is through the hunter's adoption of a professional patois that can be used to communicate with other hunters without fear their conversation can be understood by the average "civilian". The following are know examples of professional hunter slang, although it should be noted that regional and planetary variations often apply.
