Physical Description:

Tall and well built. Has a long scar stretching from his right cheek, across his right eye, ending about in the center of his forehead. His right eye is a bionic replacement, as are the thumb, index and middle finger of his right hand. Has a large patch of scars on his chest. His hair is worn in a Ranger cut. Several misc. tattoos.

Professional History:

Sykes “Operator” Kislev is a recent defector from the Imperial Commandos. Kislev is highly trained and a veteran of multiple engagements against countless species. Kislev has qualified as expert with every weapon in the Imperial arsenal and is well-versed in combat in all types of

terrain, especially boardings and urban combat. He is an excellent combat leader, able to

maintain control and motivate soldiers under the worst of conditions.

One night while patrolling for a rebel camp, they made contact. While the others observed

the happenings to report back, Kislev killed them all. He walked out of the woodline, weapons

holstered and slung on his back, And surrendered to them. He was detained for almost three

months and questioned, and was eventually allowed join.

Kislev has made quite a name for himself on both sides. He was reputedly offered a position

with the Emperor's royal guards before he defected. He is an expert on Imperial weapons,

tactics and strategy, a skill that allowed him to turn the tide of more than one battle.

Background:

Kislev comes from a long line of combatants, always fighting for the 'recognized government'.

Sykes is the first to fight for a rebel or insurgent force, and it was a decision he deliberated on

for many a sleepless night. His mind was made up for him after he witness the massacre

of unarmed civilians in the name of 'peace'.

Sykes was born to poor parents on the lower levels of Coruscant. Sykes grew up rough, running with gangs that staked out territories on ‘level black’, an area of the Coruscant’s lower levels that even stormtrooper patrols refused to enter due to the danger. He grew up, always fighting and stealing in misguided attempts to provide a better live for his parents. He eventually joined the Imperial Army for the same reason. As soon as his first paycheck arrived, the majority of his money went to his parents. They were eventually able to move out of the lower levels to a lower middle-class neighborhood. It was there that an Imperial hit squad shot them down in cold blood after they were unable to tell them where Sykes was after he defected.

There is currently a bounty for 400,000 credits out for him, dead or alive, payable at the nearest Imperial garrison.

Personality:

Kislev is an excellent combat leader but leaves some to be desired once returned to garrison. He

has been described as 'uncultured, ill-tempered, stubborn, disrespectful, and on more than one

occasion, bordering on insubordinate'. His demeanor in garrison has been listed as a concern

by many of his commanders, but has been so far overlooked due to his combat record. Kislev

has little respect for people who he view as not having the ‘balls’ to make the hard decisions that get people killed. He is cold and impersonal, and utterly ruthless in the completion of his missions, to the same extent that Imperial soldiers often resort to. He has an intense hatred for the Empire. Kislev is a troubled man, although he hides it well enough that so far no one has noticed. The acts that he committed while in service to the Empire haunt him. He also blames himself for the death of his parents. He is slightly paranoid, and works hard to keep himself emotionally distant from everyone.

Vehicle Of Choice:

Boots. Prefers walking, although he is trained to operate most wheeled vehicles and land speeders. He is also trained in the basic operation of tracked vehicles, but is more skilled in the use of vehicle-mounted weapons.

Weapons:

Trained in the use of nearly all weapons, including melee, flamers, blasters, hard-rounds, disruptors, grenades, and rocket/missile systems. He often prefers to use slug-thrower weapons. Although much older, they can be silenced more easily and allow the use of multiple ammunition types. They also leave more lethal wounds, since blasters tend to cauterize the wound and don’t tumble, as well as the psychological effect. He has no problem using blasters when the called for and usually carries one in civvies.

Form Of Dress:

Usually wears a pair of BDUs. For combat, he adds a breast piece, helmet, balaclava and goggles, gloves, and Imperial issue utility-belt and LBV. On the rare occasion that he dresses in civilian clothes, he wears an issue-brown undershirt with cargo pants and a pair of combat boots, and dark glasses. Over these he wears an equipment bandolier, a DL-44 in a custom quick-draw, drop-down holster and a long black trench coat, as well as a few hidden knives.

Augmentations to Body:

Bionic eye installed to replace right eye damaged in combat, as are three fingers on his right hand. The last section of the middle finger is hollow. Has a graft installed in his left leg to allow usage of a multi-chem auto-injector.

Abilities:

Street-wise and possessed mediocre hoodlum skills, theft, brawling, hot-wiring, reading lips, breaking kneecaps, etc. from living on the street. Good marksman, although not on par with a sniper. Trained in all military skills (survival, commo, demo, medical, camouflage, etc.) to a high level of competency, although again, not to the level of a specialist in the field in question. Expert tracker. Highly proficient with melee weapons. No known force abilities, although he has seems to have a highly accurate ‘gut feeling’. Has a very high pain tolerance, bordering on masochism.
