Background: Terien Denarm was a younger man of court. He worked his way up the ruling houses and entered the senate at a rather young age given the longevity of Thranan people. While others have plotted and schemed, he has remained quiet and seemingly, a friend to the crown. His political favor has resulted in better contracts, more income and he now lives second only to the royal houses.
Terien has one difference to the King. He truly believes that marriage is a thing for the heart and not the increasing of population or protection of the overabundance of women on planet. Let them marry off planet as far as he was concerned. But he dared not bring these other ideas forward. The King is aware of his desire for a marriage of the heart and often teases him for it as it. However, when Terien accepted a positon as the lead senator on the council, his lack of marriages was brought into play by his advesaries.
He was considered an oddity because though always with young beautiful women. He had only taken one wife. She had died during a complication with pregnancy and he had not remarried. Now, on the senate, the King has insisted that he follow the laws and take the wives he is required to have. Terien has one year to find the five wives a Tel'Thrannan of power is supposed to have. His bright political mind, his ability to appease the King, will all be in vain if he cannot meet this stricture.
Physical description: Dark in coloring, he is often a favorite of the ladies. His physical form is a little soft, due to time in court but he still works at staying in shape, often with the King.

Personality: Terien is a shrewd man. He knows business and he knows what he must sacrifice at times, even people as a leader of Tel'Thranan. It was his idea to bring Kalaira home to meet the unstable King. He had a hand in her proposed off world training as well. Such are examples of the scheming and plotting he is capable of for hte good of the Kingdom. He is not afraid to stand up to the royal house if his cause is worthy, showing bravery and determination for few men stand up to Dane Arkaran. Beneath that heard political exterior, he is a loving and kind man.
