Professional History: Dalida and Ruby spent their first three years aboard smuggling ships. After her parents were killed, Dalida was put into a seperate Orphanage on Corellia then her sister Ruby. Breaking out when she was 6, Dalida was picked up by a drug-smuggling cartel and worked for them until CorSec helped Ruby find her and rescue her at the age of 16. She trained as a pilot while scrapping up credits, while her sister worked for CorSec. She spent the next year as a trader & smuggler with her sister Ruby, until they crash-landed on the low-gravity forest world of Dar'Or in the Dar'Or system. From then until she was 22, she became a Jedi guardian, finally rising to Jedi Knight. On a trip to Yavin IV, Ruby helped corrupt Dalida to the Dark-Side and in turn, Dal helped her sister kill their Jedi master with help of evil Sith presence and its Sith holocron. The twins became Dark Side Marauders with training from the Holocron, and went out into the galaxy.
Background: Dalida was born as a twin in the Smuggler's
Sector of Corellia's capital. Her parents ran a successful
smuggling operation, and Dalida & Ruby travelled with them.
When the twins were three, their parents and family were killed by one of the Hutts after they were forced to dump cargo at an Imperial checkpoint while the pair were on Corellia. They had no other known relatives, and has no idea who sanctioned their parent's death. Neither of the twins were told about their family's Jedi history and the Imperials broke up the pair quickly, hoping they would not find out.
Dalida spent a year in one of the Imperial Orphanages, where she became popular with the other orphans by showing how she could bend her body into unusual positions, before being sold over to a smuggling company by a corrupt Imperial officer. She was trained and grew up as a courier for the company, which was scattered over Corellia. She became good at pick-pocket and using her looks to better her life. Her natural aptitude for fixing things also became useful, and she was trained as a repair tech.
On her 17th birthday, CorSec tracked her down and helped her leave the cartel, which was broken up shortly after thanks to info from Dalida. She was let loose by CorSec with a large cache of credits in return and managed to bum her way around until she could buy her own ship, an old YT freighter.
A month later, CorSec reunited her with her twin sister, Ruby. The pair become very close again and Dalida started a small trading company while Ruby went into CorSec Special Ops. Once Ruby finished in CorSec, she joined up with Dalida as a smuggler. Working in life-threatening situations aboard a cramped transport, they became attracted together and started a sexual relationship.
It was at this time that the twins were forced to crash-land
on the low-gravity forest world of Dar'Or in the Dar'Or system, known as in
Imperial charts as OM973. While exploring, they came
across a a female Caamasi named Sanari who turned out to be a Jedi master in
hiding after the Emperor's extermination of Jedi. Since their ship was damaged badly & would need a lot of repairs, they were stuck there for awhile.
Smugglers broke the travel restrictions, and unbeknownst to Dalida or Sanari,
Ruby reguarly attacked them to get spare parts.
Dalida showed great promise according to Sanari, and the Caamasi started teaching her some Jedi skills. When Ruby became interested in it, Dal convinced Sanari to train her sister too, despite Sanarai's reservations about Ruby's hidden mean streak.
Over the next four years, Ruby and Dalida learnt to become Jedi guardians, and eventually became knights. Sanari recieved word from the Rebels that Yavin IV had some Sith presence, and decided to investigate. Using the now-repaired transport, they left Dar'Or. Travelling through the Mid and Inner Rims, they stopped off at numerous places. Dalida specialised as a master gunner, becoming very good with rapid well-placed shots, while Ruby picked up the skills of a deep space pilot. Eventually, they made it to Yavin.
However, exposure to the dark evil Sith presences on the planet were slowly corrupting the twins, who had less willpower then their master against this bombardment. The twins came across a hidden Sith temple and were entranced by the spirit of an old Sith lord. Over the next couple of months, they secretly visited the temple and were indoctrinated by the Sith lord.
One afternoon during a training session, they turned on Sanari
and executed her. Heading back to the temple, they embraced the Dark Side
and gave themselves over.
The Sith lord's ghost trained them as Dark Side Marauders before unleashing into the universe with an old barely-spaceworthy transport. Arriving at the nearest world with the secret hoard of money from their master, Ruby and Dalida bought a better transport and used their skills to upgrade Tika, to the droid's happiness.
It wasn't long before the pair had saved up enough money to have a custom starfighter built & designed by a Mon Calamari dealer, who they assassinated afterwards. Using their engineering skills and some contacts, they improved their ships.
Heading back to Dar'Or, Ruby and Dalida practised using their alchemy skills on the Ri'Dar, indola and elix.
Later on during a mission, Dalida was able to steal a Corellian Gunship run by internal droid-automation from a pirate base as an Imperial taskforce swooped in. Luckily, the Interdictor was late and the twins were able to escape before moving to neutral Tel'Thranan where they have extensively modified their vessels, along with a Lambda-class shuttle for when Ruby's fighter wouldn't be advised.
Personality: Dalida is very cautious and has a bad temper. She demands loyalty and has personally executed people for breaking her trust. She doesn't mind flaunting her body to get her way, and does not have any honour code. While she used to be more gentle, the Dark Side has left her with impulses to cause and recieve pain & suffering. However, she is less violent then her twin. She is more diplomatic then her twin sister, but much more stubborn. However, when necessary, Dalida can be one very ruthless bitch and will fight for her own at any cost. While she used to be more gentle before moving to the Dark Side, she enjoys causing pain and taking it as well. Dalida is haunted in her dreams by the ghost of Sanari, her deceased Jedi master.
Vehicle of Choice: Dalida owns a modified Corellian Gunship, nicknamed 'Crimson Fury'. After removing two of the heavy double-turbolaser cannons, Ruby & Dalida managed to install a hidden full turbolaser in the frontal arc and a tractor beam projector in a full turret.
The remaining six heavy double-turbolaser cannons are placed
with 3 in the front arc & 1 in each of the left, right and rear arcs. The
six point-defense quad laser-cannons were moved into turrets as well, increasing
their effectiveness, while the four assault
concussion missile launcher tubes were unchanged.
The gunship's droid compliment is 10 standard R2 units for repair, 10 Marksman H Training Remotes for training & harassing intruders, 2 medical 2-1B droids with access to two bacta tanks, 1 3PO Protocol droid with ettiquette & diplomacy programs, and 10 EG-6 backup power droids. Skilled droid automation to the equivalent of 60 people handle the rest of the crew needs. Dalida picked up an old Droideka-class destroyer droid in a junkyard, and with Ruby's help, she repaired it so it can work as ship security. It has been nicknamed Sparky.
Dalida has a hovering Dark-Eye class Sith Probe Droid that is sometimes stored aboard Ruby's fighter named Nebor. Nebor is armed with a low-profile laser cannon, a stun blaster and a needler gun that fires injecting darts. Dalida uses a powerful tranquilizer that knocks out people for upto 4 hours.
Stored aboard the Gunship is a modified Lamda-class shuttle, named surprisingly by Ruby as 'Sanari' after their deceased master. One of the additions was droid automation to reduce the crew needs down to a single person. A hypertransciever was also added, along with slave circuits and a good quality sensor mask.
Dalida also acts as gunner for her sister's starfighter, Privateer.
Base Of Operations: The modified Corellian Gunship, 'Crimson Fury', forms the mobile base of operations for Ruby and Dalida.

Form Of Dress: When alone (or with her twin sister) and during exercises or meditation, Dalida wears no clothing. Dalida is known to wear a figure-hugging clothing in a variety of styles. Her lightsaber and heavy blaster pistol clip onto belts that she wears. While flying her starfighter, she wears a standard flight suit. Weapons of Choice: Dalida's main weapon is her modified lightsaber, which she made by herself. She chose a crimson red blade with a length of 1.4 metres, and uses a single-click on/off switch that can be locked into on for during combat. Even so, her sister Ruby helped her with numerous modifications, such as adding an encryptable commlink, water-resistance for everything except total submersion and a security system using a cell recogniser. |

Superhuman Powers or Augmentations to Body: Dalida was trained as a Jedi Knight then a Dark Side Marauder. Overall, her Force skills are weaker then her sisters. Abilities: She is an expert with the lightsaber, and has the ability to deflect blaster shots with her lightsaber. For a limited amount of time, she can move with lightning speed upto 20 times normal. By using the force, Dalida can start a whirlwhind of either pure Force energy to disrupt concentration or small objects to do damage anywhere within 50 metres. Force energy whirlwinds have a 10 metre radius while object whirlwhinds have a 2 metres radius. When she wants to, Dal can channel her rage into a berserker fury, increasing her strength, vitaliy, fortitude and willpower at the temporary loss of some of her defense skills. Her Force skills are, in order of strength - Force Grip, Empathy, Alchemy, Drain Energy, Fear, Farseeing, Move Object, Battlemind, Force Stealth, Heal Self, Affect Mind, Force Defense, Force Push, Friendship, Telepathy, Enhance Ability, Enhance Senses, See Force, Heal Another. |
