Physical Description: Always keeps an impeccable appearance. Currently wears his hair long and has a trimmed goatee. His facial features have a rugged look to them, handsome but somehow plain in appearance. His eyes are kind but melancholy, his build is average, neither strong or weak. His nobility is reflected in the way he carries his body, how he walks and speaks.
Professional History: Was a former designer at Sienar System Technology, inventing new languages software as matrix code for more advanced droids. This was his first job. He loathed working with his father and so set out to find his own path and make his own mark. When his father died he inherited the family estate. His father had been killed by a Hutt whom Garan owed the majority of his wealth. So when Danin received his inheritance he only had 100,000 credits left over. Danin proceeded to take those credits and turned them into a 5 billion trade and mining Empire, Karrenda Industries.
Background: Danin was born in Commerce City, the largest metropolis of his home planet of Tel'Thranan. Born as a nobleman of his people, owning the title-- Baron of Rothen. He was well educated and his childhood was one of privilege. Raised to take his father's title, he wasn't taught to be a warrior but a businessman, an accountant. In his spare time all throughout his young life he studied technology, building droids of his own design, datapads all kinds of electrical gadgets. Reading books about mining and exploration. This time would serve him well later in life.
When he was twenty-three he left Tel'Thranan to take a job as
a Systems Engineer at Sienar Technology. He kept this job for over
a year in a
menial position. During this time his father Garan Karrenda, fell into debt to a Hutt
named Garabba, a powerful and ruthless debtor. Garan couldn't pay off the debts
and so Garabba had Danin's father killed. Garabba hired slicer's to hack into
Garan's accounts and bled the Karrenda family dry.
Danin's mother, Hesalla(Heyse-ahlla), had saved 150,000 credits of her own. She gave 100,000 to her son on the condition that he restore his father's business to what it once was. Danin agreed but would do so on his own terms. His childhood fantasies would now get their chance to become reality.
With 100,000 credits, Danin bought an old abandoned tabanna gas facility. He turned it into a profitable mine again and bought three more just like it. He explored near his mines to find a moon of rare, expensive metals and alloys. He took out three large loans to buy mining equipment and this risk paid off the loans within two years. Karrenda Industries became a mining leader in the sector. He then bought real estate in Commerce City. His most famous buy was the Commerce City spaceport, which he now owns and operates.
Danin is now one of the most successful young miners in the Galaxy. Karrenda Industries is well respected and highly advanced in it's mining procedures. Danin believes in staying current and taking advantage of new technology. This has served him well over the last five years. Danin has only just begun, the last five years is only his beginning. He kept his promise to his mother who now lives in luxury as a Thranan noble is accustomed.
Personality: Danin's quiet. He is an eternal cynic
and skeptic, trusts no one. Bright and courageous in all things. Doesn't have a
lot of battle experience but makes up for it with diplomacy, technical and
mechanical know-how. He is very lonely, the King has been pushing him to marry
and as yet found no one. He can be rather shy at times, almost childlike. His
business and his wealth matter a great deal to him and protects it vengefully.
It is rare to see Danin smile, bent on more success and some sort of payback to
Garabba. These things consume Danin and make him who he is. He is the perfect
picture of a Thranan noble Lord- austere, proud, respectful and adoring to
ladies, the essence of manners and refinement.
Vehicle of Choice: Owns hundreds of Corellian transports, his favorite is a heavily modified YT-1300, with an updated hyperdrive (fastest available) updated shielding and weaponry. He's named the vessel, The Tabanna Phoenix. He's attached two torpedo launchers as added protection from pirates and bounty hunters, plus two back up generators for the shields. The Tabanna Phoenix has also underwent major body refits so it looks nothing like the average YT-1300.
Base Of Operations: Commerce City Spaceport. He also owns a high rise penthouse where he calls home. Four stories of elaborate and ornate furnishings, befitting a Thranan nobleman. The house is well guarded and he has also hired a thousand security officers for the Spaceport.
Weapons: Just a simple sporting blaster pistol and his ingenuity.
Form of Dress: The styles vary, but he is always
impeccably groomed and dressed as most Thranan wealthy men. Color
coordinated
pants and tunic with a matching sleeveless cloak. The colors range from basic
black, blue and green to bright reds and basic white and beige. Gold and white
suits are worn in official national functions or society gatherings.
